British Council 70th Anniversary Scholarships

British Council has launched the second edition of its 70th Anniversary Scholarship programme for Indian Women to pursue a master's programme in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the United Kingdom.

Who should apply?

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are an Indian woman with a valid Indian passport AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • already hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) to start a one year full-time Master's degree in September 2019 in a STEM programme at the University of Bristol.

What is it?

  • Full-tuition scholarships for a one-year full-time Master's in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programme.
  • Please note: Living and other related expenses are not covered as part of the scholarship and will need to be covered by the candidate or their sponsor.

Guidance for applying

  • Nominations to the British Council are now closed.
  • International Office has sent out application details to candidates.
  • Candidates will need to submit a complete application form to the British Council by 31 January 2019.
