Temple Quarter Engagement Fund

Funds to enable students and staff to deliver activities and projects that benefit external partners, communities and the University staff and students.

This funding is for projects and activities that engage communities in Bristol. For example, this could involve community-engaged research, a student project or outreach activity.

Projects should align with the University's aspiration for Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus to create a global civic university.

You can apply if you are:

  • a current student.
  • a member of staff (academic, technical or professional services).

Application process

Read the guidance and then apply using the online application form.

The deadline for the next round has been extended to 6 November 2020.

We are encouraging proposals that focus on the city’s aspirations to build back better from COVID-19; however we would welcome proposals that meet our civic criteria even if they do not focus on this area.

Assessment process

Applications are assessed by members of the Temple Quarter Engagement Board.

We aim to confirm the outcome of your application within a month of the submission deadline.

Further details

We have been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reimagine the future of our University as one of the world’s great civic universities.
