Why did ancient herbivores die of starvation?

New research from Bristol suggests Rhynchosaurs, Triassic Period reptiles, starved to death as a result of tooth erosion. A lifetime of eating vegetation wore down the Rhynchosaurs’ teeth until they were unable to eat enough to survive.
