Bristol Standalone Bursary
Funding for care leavers, estranged students and bereaved students.
Awards of £2,000 are available yearly and paid directly to students in four equal instalments.
Eligibility
You can apply if you are:
- a current Home/UK, full-time undergraduate
- a care leaver or estranged from your parents or have no living parents.
- aged under 25 on 1 September of the year you start your course.

You must be a fully registered student to be able to apply for this bursary.
Apply by completing the Standalone Bursary online application form.
The deadline for applications for the 2026/27 academic year is 30 June 2027.
