Funding for students from asylum-seeking and refugee communities. The scholarship is equivalent to a full tuition fee waiver and a full living cost stipend.
If you are awarded this scholarship, the actual amount will depend on your fee status and whether you are in receipt of any other funding. The Sanctuary Scholarship is intended to ensure that scholars will have available funds to cover tuition and have access to reasonable living costs for the duration of their studies. See the full eligibility criteria for further details.
Scholars also receive free access to the university gym.
You can apply if you:
- are from a refugee or asylum-seeking community
- hold an academic offer (or are awaiting a decision) to study an eligible course at the University of Bristol.
Read the full eligibility criteria.
There may be other scholarships available to you depending on your circumstances, and you can search for these on our scholarships page. Please note your fee status may determine eligibility for other scholarships.
