The Geraldine Keefe Women in Engineering Futures Scholarship
These scholarships are for female Home UK undergraduate students who will be studying engineering starting in 2025/26.
The award is for £2,000 per year of study with access to an extra £2,500 employability fund. We will give the award to 7 undergraduate students for up to 4 years of study.
Geraldine Keefe is a University of Bristol alumna who studied Aeronautical Engineering, graduating in 2000. Her generous donations allowed us to launch the Geraldine Keefe Women in Engineering Futures Scholarship in 2024.
Eligibility
You can apply if you are:
- a female Home UK undergraduate student and have an offer (or be awaiting a decision) from the University of Bristol to study:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science
- Engineering Design
- Engineering Maths
- Artificial Intelligence.

More about Geraldine Keefe
Geraldine Keefe is now the head of Investment Banking for the Midwest Region at Goldman Sachs. She is also the new Chair of the University of Bristol Foundation.
She is passionate about education and music and holds several board roles. These include:
- the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
- the Old Town School of Music
- the Posse Foundation Chicago Advisory Board.
