Chevening Scholarships

This programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study on a postgraduate course.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and partners.


To be eligible to apply for a Chevening Scholarship you need to:

  • be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country;
  • have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university;
  • have minimum of two years’ work experience.
