GREAT Scholarship 2021: Kenya

Funding towards tuition fees for one Kenyan postgraduate applicant. In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

One scholarship of £10,000 is available, which must be used towards the cost of tuition fees for a master's degree.


You can apply if you:

  • are a national of Kenya, holding a Kenyan passport;
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes;
  • already hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) to start a one-year full-time master's degree in September 2021.

Applications will close at 10am UK time on Monday 29 March 2021.

Assessment process

Successful applicants will be contacted on or before 26 April 2021.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.

Further details

If you apply for this scholarship, you will also automatically be considered for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship. You do not need to submit two separate applications.
