Beacon Trust Scholarship

The Beacon Scholarship offers access for financially disadvantaged students from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda to undergraduate programmes of study at world class schools and universities. The Beacon Trust has partnered with the University of Bristol to offer the scholarship to one student to start their studies in the academic year 18/19. The funding will be provided for the duration of the undergraduate programme. 

The scholarship is jointly funded by the Beacon Trust and The University of Bristol. It covers two-thirds of the cost of tuition fees and £10,360 for living costs (2017 figure). The remaining cost of the tuition fees and living costs should be funded by the student.
