Ali Blackett

Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Level 4 Senior Performance Coach, Ali, brings a wealth of experience working with young people to her ole as Head Coach of University of Bristol Tennis (UBTC). Ali has worked with UBTC for over 10 years and, alongside this, coaches and captains on the Avon County junior programme. In 2025, Ali was shortlisted for the LTA National Performance Coach of the Year. She competed in Division 1 collegiate tennis in the United States and represented Avon County at junior, adult, and senior levels.

Ali's drive and passion are to make tennis at the University of Bristol one of the leading programmes in the country, offering opportunities for players of all levels, from social tennis through to high-performance BUCS competitors (typically men with an LTA World Tennis Number of 24 or lower, and women with a rating of 28 or lower).
