Established in September 2023, University of Bristol are proud to be an England Hockey Talent Academy, supporting high-potential young hockey players via a year-round programme of training, competition, education and development.
Welcome
Welcome to the University of Bristol Hockey Talent Academy, based at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex. We are delighted to have been selected by England Hockey as a Talent Academy.
We are proud to offer an ‘independent’ environment which exists to support young players' development in, and enjoyment of, hockey - both on and off the pitch.
We are seeking high-potential hockey players to demonstrate and develop the broad range of technical, tactical, physiological and psychological skills involved in our game, and to grow as people beyond the turf.
We are looking for you to take responsibility for your own development, and we will be on that journey with you, alongside your parents/carers, schools and clubs. Whilst we seek performance and the delivery of potential, playing hockey should always be for fun. We hope you will have an enjoyable and rewarding experience here.
