Alpaca information for patients and the public

We need you to help us make sure improvements in shared decision making work for people like you

Shared decision making is when patients work together with surgeons to choose the best treatment option for them. Our goal is to make sure everyone who is offered surgery is involved in choosing their treatment and feels supported to make a choice that is right for them.

Researchers in Bristol and West Yorkshire are working with patients and community members of different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds, to improve how the NHS supports shared decision making for patients offered surgery.

Getting involved in the study means you can make sure that improvements in shared decision making work for people like you. Complete the online survey to let us know how you want to be involved.
