Palliative and End of Life Care Research Group

We are a team of researchers at the University of Bristol, with close links to other higher education institutions and organisations in the South West.

The purpose of the group is to:

  1. Facilitate collaboration and partnering between researchers and clinicians working in palliative/end of life care at the University of Bristol and our GW4 partners, as well as external organisations and members of the public
  2. Generate successful collaborative grant applications
  3. Increase public engagement, e.g. with debates about futile treatment, care planning and grief and bereavement
  4. Improve the dissemination and impact of University of Bristol research in palliative and end of life care
