Biography
I am a registered scientist, a poultry welfare officer, I'm validated at keel palpation and a BEIC welfare assessment trainer, I am certified WATOK, IOSH certified at managing safety.
Laboratory skills include: PCR, ELISA, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, biochemistry, biomechanics, histomorphometry, microbiology.
Imaging skills include: radiography, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry.
Anatomy skills include: gross and fine dissection, skeleton preparation and building.
Welfare assessment skills include: behaviour observation (Noldus Observer, Boris, Mangold obansys), RFID tagging, accelerometery, thermography.
My focal species are livestock (poultry, cattle, pigs and sheep).
