The mission statements of the three Service Units are :-
To educate a wide spectrum of high calibre undergraduates who show potential as society's future leaders and opinion formers in order to better inform them of the need for and role of the Royal Navy, and to develop an awareness of the career opportunities in the Service.
The mission of the OTC is to develop the leadership potential of selected university students through enjoyable and challenging training in order to communicate the values, ethos and career opportunities of the British Army.
The University Air Squadron mission is to provide a practical link between the RAF and universities, thereby promoting an interest in the RAF and an understanding of the Services' role as an instrument of Government policy.
