Planning your journey
Travelling to Bristol and around the UK
- Travelwest has a national journey planner which you can use to plan journeys around Bristol. The planner allows you to look at travelling by foot, by bike, by bus, by train and by car.
- Traveline offers a similar services and you can also contact Traveline by calling 0871 200 22 33.
- Maps of Bristol and Bristol City Centre showing cycle routes and walking routes are produced by Bristol City Council under their Better By Bike banner. There is a great online cycle route planner available or you can request a paper map from them.
- Traffic England provides current traffic conditions on England's motorways and major A roads.
Getting to and around the University

University of Bristol staff and student travel benefits
The University offers a number of Staff and Student Travel Benefits (PDF, 149kB) that have been negotiated through third party transport providers.
Cycle clinics, cycle lessons and other cycle events
The University holds a variety of cycle events throughout the year, available to University of Bristol staff and students:
