Transport Plan

The University's Travel and Transport Plan‌ aims to minimise the environmental impact from all types of transport activity undertaken by the University and its communities, including commuting, operational transport and business travel.

Information on all means of transport can be found within the travel and transport section, along with information on car parking at the University.

The University offers a number of staff and student travel benefits (PDF, 149kB) that have been negotiated through third party transport providers.

The University also conducts a staff travel survey every two years to review the way the plan operates and to seek to improve and refine the details. See how staff have changed how they travel to work since the plan was implemented.

Bristol's Clean Air Zone (CAZ) came into effect on Monday 28 November 2022. Visit the CAZ page for advice on how the CAZ might affect your commuting and other private car journeys, and the exemptions and other support available from the council.
