Staff and students from DECIPHer came together for this one day annual event which was held at the Bristol Hotel overlooking the Bristol harbourside. Staff and PhD students gave presentations on their work to-date and the day provided the opportunity for networking with colleagues based in other locations. Dr Nancy Bennett, Director of the Center for Community Health, and Professor of Medicine and Public Health Sciences at the University of Rochester, NY (a member of World Universities Network) visited Canynge Hall on Thursday 25th April and gave a seminar entitled 'Building models for prevention in partnership with the community'.
