Sutton Trust Summer School 2020 – Virtual Summer School
Due to the closure of campus during the COVID-19 outbreak, we have moved the Sutton Trust summer school online.
Those who have been successful in gaining a place will hear directly via email about how to join closer to the virtual summer school. The dates of the summer school have not changed.
The Bristol Sutton Trust Summer School offers students the opportunity to experience student life in one of the UK’s most exciting cities. We offer 180 places across 12 different subject streams, designed to provide an insight into undergraduate courses at the University.
In summer 2020, the University of Bristol Sutton Trust summer school will run from Monday 13 - Friday 17 July 2020.
Activities during the week
We offer a variety of differenct subject streams which consist of lectures and seminars led by our world-leading academics, in addition to lab-based experiments and trips to local organisations and businesses showcasing the academic links to our city.
We also offer the chance to try out a variety of sports and society activities, as well as the chance to experience student life outside of studying with quiz night, team challenges and a celebration party at the end of the week.
The Sutton Trust summer school is free to participate in.
One of the major benefits of taking part in the Sutton Trust Summer School at Bristol is the guaranteed interview or guaranteed contextual offer to study at the University. These guarantees are awarded to students who both complete the summer school and meet the entry requirements for the course they apply for. These guarantees highlight how much the University values the skills and experiences students gain during the week.
