Reopening of University sports facilities

A superb sporting facility which provides a unique atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on quality and the combination of a wide range of outdoor and indoor opportunities for all students.
Most of the University’s ‘traditional’ outdoor sports are played at Coombe Dingle, including all inter-university matches (British universities and Colleges Sport), local league matches and training sessions.
The Coombe Dingle Sports Complex consists of the following facilities:
- 3G pitch
- artificial pitches (sand dressed / floodlit)
- cricket squares and nets (including grass)
- grass pitches for football and rugby
- indoor and outdoor tennis courts (floodlit)
- lacrosse pitch
- netball courts
- Olympic weight lifting room
- softball and rounders facilities
- pavilion, lounge bar and meeting rooms.
Hire a facility

All activities take place in a safe, relaxed and tranquil environment on a 38-acre site in the heart of Stoke Bishop in North Bristol.
