Bullying and harassment
Bullying and harassment is behaviour that makes someone feel intimidated or offended.
What is bullying?
Anyone can be bullied, but it usually involves individuals or groups with more power, bullying someone with less. The person who is being bullied can feel humiliated, threatened or upset and it can become a pattern of behaviour.
What is harassment?
Harassment is unwanted actions or behaviour by individuals or groups which violates a person’s dignity and creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.
How to make a report
- Complete the Request Wellbeing Support form and we will make sure you get the support you need or,
- Report anonymously if you don't feel comfortable providing your details. We will know the incident has happened but will not be able to take any action.
- Have an informal conversation with the Student Complaints Officer. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. You may then want to make a formal complaint using the University’s Acceptable behaviour policy (PDF, 673kB)
