Nancy Kline’s work of Creating A Thinking Environment

About the masterclass

In this brief webinar, we will be exploring Nancy Kline’s approach to creating a thinking environment:

“A Thinking Environment is a set of conditions under which people can think for themselves and think well together. They make it possible for people’s thinking to move further, go faster, plumb insights, banish blocks and produce brand new, exactly needed ideas in record time.”

Kline’s 10 Step Approach provides a practical way to enhance any team meeting, albeit challenging to implement:

“Teams are now the primary force of organisations. They are worth cultivating at their core. Their core is the mind of each team member.”

The primary purpose of this webinar is to explore these ideas in the specific context of the University of Bristol and how the University’s culture might influence the creation of Thinking Environments.

The webinar will be conducted under the 'Chatham House Rule'.
