My name is Jonno Balding, and I am a Gold Scholar for the University of Bristol. I am currently representing Bristol in the BUCS premier division. I’ve been playing rugby seriously for some years now, moving through the age-grade system and embracing the challenge of each step. I earned selection for the England U18s squad and gathered a few caps on their international tours, which was a real milestone for me.  At club level I signed a senior academy contract with Gloucester Rugby as part of their pathway, which opened access to a higher-level training environment. In 2025 I hope to represent England U20s as well as Gloucester in the Premiership Cup.
