Request a change to your application
You can request changes via your applicant dashboard if you want to:
- change your course
- defer your start date
- un-defer your start date.
Your applicant dashboard link is included in the acknowledgement email sent to you when you first applied to us.
Deferred applicants holding a place for 2020 entry should contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request any changes to your application.
Changing your course
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change your course, but our Admissions Team will consider your request carefully. Whether we can change your course will depend on your grades and whether we have spaces on your new course.
If we can accommodate your request, we will do so, and you won’t be able to reverse the change. Therefore, please only do this if you are sure you want to change course.
Defer or un-defer your start date
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change your start date but our Admissions Team will consider your request carefully.
Be released into Clearing
If you are holding an offer at Bristol and would like to be released into Clearing you can do this via UCAS Track. Information on how to self-release into Clearing can be found on the UCAS website.
Once you are released into Clearing, you cannot take your place at Bristol back again.
If Bristol is your insurance choice and you have been placed at your firm choice, we cannot release you into Clearing as your contract is with them. You will need to contact your firm choice university and ask them to release you into Clearing.
Withdraw your UCAS application
