Physics Library

The Physics Library is now a supported self-service site during daytime hours - use the self-service machine for issuing and returning books.
Staff are available in the evenings during term time from 4.30-7pm Monday to Thursday and 4.30-6pm on Friday.

Bank Holiday closure days

The library will be closed on Monday 27 & Tuesday 28 August for the Bank Holiday and University closure day.

Loan periods and borrowing limits

All Physics Library items are subject to the standard loan periods and borrowing limits with the following exceptions
MaterialLoan periods and restrictions
Journals All users - seven-day loan
Current issues of journals Staff and research postgraduates - overnight loan
New books on display, reference books, theses when used by undergraduates, very old rare books, some journals Confined to library

Visitor Access

The University of Bristol library is open to external researchers and visitors who have a genuine need to use materials not available in other libraries. Please go to the Visitor Access webpage for current information.
