The University’s Staff Immigration Team is available to provide advice and guidance on:
- The UK immigration system (Skilled Worker visas and Temporary Workers - GAE/Creative visas) including the recent changes
- Immigration white paper (updates as they occur)
- Global Talent visas
- Settling in the UK
- Eligible roles for sponsorship
- Issuing Certificates of Sponsorships and associated queries
- Immigration costs
- Evisas
- Employment rights: Detail on pay, working hours, statutory leave, trade union rights, equality protections and health and safety can also be found on the Human Resources homepage.
The team can be contacted on staff-immigration-team@bristol.ac.uk They aim to respond to provide an initial response to all queries within 5 working days. If you require an urgent response please reach out via teams or mark the query urgent.
Please note that the team are not legally trained Immigration Advisers and in some circumstances individuals may need to obtain independent legal advice from an Immigration Lawyer.
