Welcome from Nikolaos Stylos

I am writing to introduce myself as the programme director for the MSc Marketing. I am delighted that you have chosen to carry out your postgraduate study at the University of Bristol.
As Director of the MSc Marketing I have overall responsibility for the content and delivery of this programme. While you are a student here, I will be able to advise you on the academic side of your studies.
I am Senior Lecturer in Marketing, an interdisciplinary academic with degrees in marketing management and engineering, and so my research activities and teaching interests concentrate on consumer behaviour, marketing communications, tourism marketing, as well as, environmental management and sustainability. I serve as Associate Editor of Journal of Tourism Analysis, and drawing on my past and current roles I try to find new ways to inform my teaching practice with state-of-the-art knowledge and experience. As you may see from the profiles of the marketing academic colleagues, they have research and teaching areas spanning a wide range of contemporary subjects and they are internationally recognised experts in their fields. They regularly publish their research in leading academic journals, present their work to both academic and non-academic audiences around the world and maintain close links with professional and industrial bodies in marketing.
Registration
Students joining us from the pre-sessional english language programme will need to attend registration on 21st September. All non pre-sessional students should register on 24th September 2018. At registration you will receive your first week’s timetable – make sure you are available as you can expect a variety of activities to take place.
