Welcome from Dr Maija Halonen-Akatwijuka

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Dr Maija Halonen-Akatwijuka, Programme Director for the MSc in Economics, Finance & Management. I have overall responsibility for your programme's content and delivery whilst you are a student here, I will be able to help and advise you on the academic side of your studies.

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics. My research focuses on contract theory and organisational economics. I am delighted that you have been made an offer of postgraduate study at the University of Bristol this year!

Registration

Students joining us from the pre-sessional english language programme will need to attend registration on 21st September. All non pre-sessional students should register on 24th September 2018. At registration you will receive your first week’s timetable – make sure you are available as you can expect a variety of activities to take place.
