Welcome from Liyi Zheng

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Dr Liyi Zheng and I am the Programme Director for the MSc in Accounting, Finance and Management. I am delighted that you have been made an offer of postgraduate study at the University of Bristol this year!

I have overall responsibility for your programme’s content and delivery – whilst you are a student here, I will be able to help and advise you on the academic side of your studies.

I am a Lecturer in Finance in the Department of Accounting and Finance. My research lies in the field of empirical finance, particularly the performance of financial markets, puzzles in price anomalies and investors’ trading behaviour. I would like to invite you to browse our staff web pages and learn more about staff, their background, research interests and publications.

Registration

Students joining us from the pre-sessional english language programme will need to attend registration on 21st September. All non pre-sessional students should register on 24th September 2018. At registration you will receive your first week’s timetable – make sure you are available as you can expect a variety of activities to take place.
