What differences should staff be aware of?
Key differences in the new version include:
- Editing icons (always visible previously) are replaced by rollover editing (giving a cleaner, less cluttered interface)
- Show/hide course menu button has been removed. Just hover your mouse to the right of the course menu to see this option
- Edit mode is now a green button when on, and greyed out when off
- A home icon replaces course titles in the breadcrumb trail. Cicking on the home icon takes you to the course entry point e.g. Announcements
- Links are no longer underlined e.g. links to assignment submission points
- Change of menu names in content areas: "Create assessments " is now just "Assessments". "Add interactive tool" is just "Tools"
- Add tools via "Tools" menu rather than via "Build content"
