As a PGT graduate, you can enter a wide range of careers. Some are linked to your degree, but many careers are open to all subjects.

We offer advice on developing a job search strategy for your areas of interest.
Use Careers Service support to prepare for each stage of the job search process, including:
- finding jobs
- networking with employers
- writing effective CVs, cover letters, and applications
- preparing for interviews, tests, and assessment centres.

Many graduate scheme applications close early in the academic year for roles starting the following summer.

However, graduate schemes are not your only option. Graduate-level jobs are advertised year-round.

PGR graduates progress into a range of career paths, including:

PGTs and PGRs are encouraged to attend all events by the Careers Service for help with career planning.
PGR-specific training sessions are designed for PGR students only.
