We offer tailored careers support for students who may face additional barriers. This is in addition to our general support for all students.

Who this is for
Undergraduate students in specific groups
You may benefit from tailored careers advice and support if you are:
- an international student
- disabled, neurodivergent, or have a mental health condition
- a mature student
- from a global majority background
- care-experienced or estranged
- from a refugee, asylum seeker, or forced migration background
- receiving a bursary.
Support for home students in specific groups
If you are a home student and in one or more of these specific groups, you may benefit from:
- tailored careers information and advice, relevant to your circumstances
- the Bristol Mentors scheme: mentoring to explore ideas and gain sector insights.
Support for international students
For international student careers support, visit:

Support for disabled and neurodivergent students, and students with a mental health condition
If you're disabled, neurodivergent, or have a mental health condition, you can access:

- advice on adjustments when applying for jobs and in the workplace.
- Careers appointments: 15 minutes, online or in person.
- The Careers Service support request form: complete this form, and we'll contact you to discuss support options.
