Important Information for 2012/13

A planning application has been submitted for an additional 430 bed spaces and transport hub to be constructed within the boundaries of the existing Hiatt Baker site. Subject to planning consent the proposed start will be late September/early October 2012 with completion of the transport hub in summer 2013 and the new residences in 2014.

All current study bedrooms at University Hall will be available for let throughout the project. The very nature of any construction will at times cause varying levels of disturbance, especially to the rooms directly facing onto the site, see plans (3 - The Design Response). Additional communal rooms will be available during peak periods to facilitate group work and revision.

We will make every effort to update the construction timetable on a daily/weekly basis and Hall staff will be available to support residents.
