The University takes its responsibility for the health and safety of its staff and students very seriously. In the event of an emergency, the University will contact its community in a number of ways, such as through website alerts and email. Each of these facilities is intended to improve communications in an emergency.
In such a situation, this website will provide the latest information, including possible courses of action. Regular updates will be posted as they become available.
If there are any city-wide emergencies, please tune into BBC Radio Bristol 94.9 FM.

If you believe that a major incident or crisis is developing involving the University, its staff or students call Security Services 24 hour EMERGENCY ONLY - 0117 331 1223 (internal 112233) If you require an ambulance ring 999 first and then inform Security Services .
