Would you like to take part in our research?

There are many studies run by researchers at the Centre for Academic Primary Care. To explore these, see our Research themes page. On this page, you will see a list of studies 'open to recruitment', that means studies that are looking for people to take part.

For some of these studies, GPs will invite patients to take part. In others, you can contact the research lead directly if you are interested. Each study has a set of eligbility criteria (information about who can take part, based on things like your age, how severe your condition is, where you live etc.).

Some of the studies are looking for health professionals or health organisations to take part rather than patients, as they may be looking, for example, at organisational or workforce issues.

For general enquiries about taking part in our research, contact phc-info@bristol.ac.uk. For enquiries about specific studies, contact the named research lead or study email address.

Would you like to help shape our research?

If you are a patient or member of the public, there are other ways to get involved in our research. For example, you can get involved in working with our researchers to help shape, design and spread the word about our research, bringing insights from your own lived experience. Find out more on our Public involvement and engagement page.
