Pre-sessional entry requirements

The aim of the pre-sessional course(s) are to provide you with tuition so you can demonstrate a level of academic English and study skills needed by the University of Bristol. You can apply for the pre-sessional course you feel is most appropriate for you by ticking the relevant box on your online Offer Letter for your postgraduate degree. As a postgraduate offer holder, you must assess your current score and your entry requirements using the drop-down boxes below. (If you are an Undergraduate offer holder, please contact CELFS: celfs-presessional@bristol.ac.uk)

CELFS staff cannot advise which pre-sessional course you should take.  

All pre-sessional applicants must provide a valid official Secure English Language Test (SELT) certificate. Further information about SELTs and English language Profiles can be found on the University of Bristol Postgraduate Prospectus.
