Martin became a Christian while serving in the Royal Air Force in 1983.
Since that time he has always been keen to help other people to understand what it means to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
In 1989 he joined Agapé as a schools worker and taught in several Brighton schools. In 1991 he married Rachel and later moved to Birmingham where their boys were born.
Martin worked with Agapé student groups in Birmingham and Warwick Universities before moving to Bristol in 2006. He is now the Woodlands Church Student Minister.
Martin says:
"I have always been excited to see people growing in their faith. The Woodlands Student Community is a vibrant and lively group of Christian students who want to help others experience all that a relationship with God has to offer. It is a wonderful place for me to be. I enjoy talking to all kinds of students whatever their faith and being a part of the Chaplaincy team."
