Meet the team
Our team is made up of a range of chaplains and local faith contacts, who represent a wide range of religious traditions. The team work together to provide a welcoming, supportive and inclusive experience in the Multifaith Chaplaincy. They help run the chaplaincy, facilitate events and offer support to staff and students at the university.
Roles in the team
The Coordinating Chaplain is responsible for coordinating the Chaplaincy team and the day-to-day work of the Chaplaincy. The Coordinating Chaplain is also responsible for representing the Multifaith Chaplaincy within Student Services and the wider University.
The Chaplaincy Assistant is based in the Multifaith Chaplaincy Centre during term-time, running the building and helping the Chaplains to organise events. They are the primary contact point for general enquiries and bookings. They can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chaplains have been appointed to serve not only their faith community, but all students and staff at the University. They are involved in the running of the Chaplaincy and will take turns acting as a duty Chaplain. All our Chaplains have signed the Multifaith statement (PDF, 66kB) and work within the University's Confidentiality Policy.
