Bible reading Group

1:10- 2pm

Students and staff are welcome to join this group, whatever religious views they hold. Each meeting is a chance to read and reflect together on Bible extracts. We consider questions such as “what was the author trying to say?” and “what meaning could this have for us today?” You don't need to have read the text beforehand or know anything about it: just come and share your thoughts! If you would like to join this group, please get in touch with Mike Peat, Free Church Chaplain.

Read & Discover

 1- 2pm

This group has a specific focus on reading the Bible with International Students, from any background, faith or belief. Each meeting we read a bible text, reflect on its context, learn to cross-reference to other parts of the Bible and relate it to our everyday life. No preparation required! Come along to read, discover and share your thoughts in an informal and relaxed setting. Join this online event using the details provided.

Meditation Group

Everyone is welcome to join this meditation group, no matter your meditation experience or tradition! We usually have two sessions of about 20-minutes of silent sitting meditation, with a 20-minute sharing and reflection space in-between. This in-person space is at the Multifaith Chaplaincy quiet room. Do get in touch if you have any questions!
