Salmonella-induced Actin Rearrangement

 

Invasion of host cells by Salmonella involves dramatic rearrangement of the actin cytoskeleton. In this confocal image of a single plane of focus F-actin is visualized with TRITC-phalloidin (red), Salmonella with specific antibodies (green) and DNA with DAPI (blue).
