Think Big Scholarship applications for September 2027 entry are now open.

The application deadline is 19 March 2027 at 1 pm UK time.

Sri Lankan postgraduate applicants can apply for funding towards tuition fees. This scholarship was formerly known as the R. Senathi Rajah Memorial Scholarship.

Ms Sonali Siriwardena is delighted to honour the memory of her beloved late parents with this postgraduate scholarship.  

One scholarship is available for a Sri Lankan national applying for a one-year postgraduate taught degree at the University of Bristol.  

The scholarship includes:

  • £26,000 towards the cost of tuition fees for a one-year taught master's degree 
  • £3,000 living cost bursary.  

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

  • are a national of Sri Lanka, holding a Sri Lankan passport
  • have already applied to start a one-year full-time master's degree at the University of Bristol in September 2027
  • are an overseas student for fee purposes.
