Events and community

The Student Communities team provides free community social events throughout the year. You are welcome to attend these alone or with friends. Events include:

• crafts and board game nights in your residences
• mini-golf and bowling nights
• socials and experiences in the city centre
• themed socials and activities in your residences.

You can see our events on the university events calendar. Filter the Organisers option to “Student Communities” if it is not already.

Every undergraduate residence also has a JCR (Junior Common Room) Committee. They are responsible for running events in your residence.  

Your JCR events will be sent directly your student email inbox. You can also email student-communities@bristol.ac.uk to find out more.
