Exam board outcomes

At the end of each stage of your programme, school and faculty exam boards will meet. They will decide whether you have met the requirements for progression or for an award.

Regulations and Code of Practice

Progression and classification are governed by the Regulations and Code of Practice for Taught Programmes.

View your results

Your faculty will email you when your results are released. Go to the assessment and feedback channel in MyBristol to see your results.

  • Select View my unit marks to see your unit results in Student Info. The final unit result will not be displayed if the marks for that unit are incomplete, for example if you deferred an assessment. Download this step-by-step guide to help you find your results in Student Info.
  • Select View my assessment details to see your assessment marks and programme outcomes in eVision. Assessment marks for some programmes are only available via Blackboard. Download this step-by-step guide to help you find your marks and outcomes in eVision.

Assessment and unit outcomes

Download a ‌Glossary of mark signals (PDF, 189kB) explaining any signals that might be displayed next to your assessment and unit marks, and how these will appear on your transcript.

Programme outcomes

When available, your programme outcome will be displayed beneath all the unit details for the relevant academic year in eVision. For outcomes other than progression to the next year of study, there will be a brief comment that describes the outcome and whether it is an appealable decision.
