Experiences of survivors
- Funder: NIHR

This project, which started in 2014 and will be completed in 2017, captured the experiences of survivors of domestic violence for the on-line site Health Talk. Funded by the NIHR this project sought to collate the experiences of survivors in order to produce an on-line module to help those experiencing similar issues. Whilst not a traditional health issue, we know from our previous research that domestic violence and abuse has a massive impact on victims/survivors. As such, the module is intended to offer information and guidance to those who might be currently experiencing abuse, or health practitioners (and others) who may be in a position to offer support.
The module will launch in 2017 on the Health Talk site, at which time a wide range of impact and public engagement activities will be undertaken.
