Social Policy ranked 4th in The Times Good University Guide

Social Policy at Bristol has been ranked 4th in the UK in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026.

The subject scored 93% against measures which included teaching quality, research quality and student experience.

A number of other disciplines at Bristol were also ranked in the top 5, including Civil and General Engineering, Music, German, Dentistry, Education, and French.

Overall, the Guide ranked the University of Bristol within the top 10 universities in the UK.

The Guide noted that “the combination of a leading research university and a charming cosmopolitan city that’s within easy reach of most of the country makes Bristol one of the most consistently popular destinations for students.”
