SPS looking to appoint to posts in Social Care, Public Policy and Criminology

Successful candidates will join an ambitious and collegial School that pushes forward intellectual debates and real-world solutions to a range of policy and social dilemmas within an interdisciplinary environment.

The School for Policy Studies is seeking to recruit four new posts:

Associate Professor/ Professor in Social Care

Lecturer in International Social/Public Policy post

Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Criminology (two posts)

The School for Policy Studies has an exceptional reputation for teaching, research and public engagement. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) over 95% of research in social work and social policy was rated world-leading or internationally excellent (Social Work and Social Policy). In the QS World Rankings we are consistently ranked in the top 30 worldwide and top ten in the UK. Our undergraduate programmes in criminology, social policy and childhood studies are consistently top rated in national league tables.
