If you are not sure on where to start with physical activity, come and speak to us. We can support your decision to help get you started.

Student Wellbeing support:

Follow the steps through the Request Wellbeing Support link to access direct support for students, or to refer on their behalf.

Staff Wellbeing support:

Access wellbeing resources for staff on the University's Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing page.

University options to get active include:

  • B:Active - Programme of free activity ranging from fitness classes to social sports opportunities
  • Clubs & Societies - Student groups and clubs from sports teams to different forms of activity
  • Run/Walk Group - Social groups to meet others and exercise together
  • Membership - Gym, fitness classes, swimming pool, sports bookings (basketball, badminton etc.)
  • Healthy Minds - Holistic service of supported activity designed for students experiencing wellbeing concerns
