Following the huge success of the Bristol Run Series, we've introduced a new challenge to help you reach higher goals and reward you with something truly unique.

Inspired by the world-famous London Classics, the University of Bristol is proud to introduce the Bristol Classics Series, delivering a powerful combination of four of the city’s most iconic physical challenges, by foot, by bike and in the water.

We can't wait to cheer you on as you complete the ultimate Bristolian challenge!

How to take part

Complete four of Bristol’s most iconic physical challenges to run, cycle and swim your way to earning the all-new Bristol Classics medal.

The events can be completed in any order over any time period and whether that be in-person or virtually. If you have completed any of the distances since 2020 (when the Bristol Run Series started) and have proof, this can be used towards your Bristol Classics.

To be awarded the Bristol Classics medal, you’ll need to complete the following challenges :

2.5K swim
100K cycle
Half marathon
Marathon

Once you have completed all four events simply upload proof on the Bristol Classics Portal and you'll receive your iconic medal.
