Emma Hurst (Physiotherapist)

I have combined expertise in Physiotherapy (MSc) and Sport and Exercise Science (BSc) and have gained experience working across musculoskeletal clinics, orthopaedic hospitals and elite sport.

I have a particular interest in the management of knee injuries, running injuries, racket-sport injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. I am passionate about having a positive impact on the recovery, return to performance and ongoing wellbeing of patients.

For many years I dedicated myself to playing professional tennis; representing Great Britain on multiple occasions. As a tennis player, I personally experienced the positive impact Physiotherapy can have in preventing and treating injuries, later inspiring me to become a Physiotherapist. The experiences I have had throughout my Physiotherapy and tennis career have contributed to my passion for sports injuries and drive to positively help others return to sport.

Alongside tennis, I now enjoy running, hiking, padel and skiing.
