Disability inclusive sessions

Disability inclusive sessions are part of the B:Active programme. Learn what sessions are taking place this term.

Pan-Disability Tennis

A weekly accessible and adaptive tennis session for those with physical, sensory and / or learning disabilities, and neurodivergent individuals (non-disabled students are also welcome).

The session is led by disability-inclusive trained coaches, who can adapt activities to wheelchair tennis, visually impaired / ability tennis and walking tennis, and is held indoors at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex on Saturdays from 12 pm to 1 pm.

Book via the UOB Active app, or enquire via email to sport-active@bristol.ac.uk.

In March 2025, we hosted a takeover of our B:Active programme (watch our highlights reel on instagram)- replacing some of the usual sport and activity sessions with a disability-inclusive alternative. The takeover offered non-disabled students the chance to experience an adapted activity and learn about the barriers that disabled students face in sport.
